Last renovated in the 1990s, this dark Fairfield Edwardian was in desperate need of a declutter and refresh. We designed the home to make the most of the family’s art collection, with space for knick-knacks and the kids’ hobbies. An entire new home was created within the original building envelope.
Dark living room walls perfectly offset the family’s paintings while a black and white kitchen complemented the large stone island bench and the original brick fireplace. The two children’s bedrooms and a new bathroom were moved to the back of the home, while the master bedroom, ensuite and office were positioned at the front.
